When I was a child, my grandmother used to make this delicious bread that was so sweet it seemed more like cake and less like actual bread. over the years I had forgotten about it all together until my mother said, " Hey do you remember that bread that Grandma used to make? the one in the zip lock?" the memory quickly returned and with the help of the internet we were able to put a name to the memory.

Scones are something I don't get very often because for the longest time I was the only one in the house that actually liked them and I wasn't going to make a whole batch just for myself. Lucky for me I have a little toddler that loves them as much as I do!  They are versatile in flavor options, so you better believe I have a scone for every season! Nothing screams springtime to me quite like Blueberry Lemon. The sweet citrus mix just hits so good that you can't help but have one or maybe even two. No judgment here. 

I absolutely love this simple Banana muffin recipe, it is a weekly staple for us and one that my 3-year-old loves to be a part of, "Make muffins, make muffins" she says as soon as they are gone. 

In our home it can be hard to find a recipe that everyone will enjoy, especially my husband so when this was an instant hit, I knew I was on to something. The best part for me is that I can use it in different recipes that I know my family likes. For example, on the first night we made shredded beef sandwiches with our favorite BBQ sauce, then on the second night we have Enchiladas. Let me just say. YUM!I used a London broil for this recipe because it is a tougher and cheaper cut of meat but by slow cooking it you would never know.

Ever want to bake fresh sourdough Bread but are intimidated by how daunting it seems? That was me too but now it's something I make every week! Yes, you can find it in nearly every grocery store but the number of additives and impossible to pronounce ingredients really takes the enjoyment out of it. At least for me, that's why I have spent countless weekends and wasted flour to build a full proof recipe that even I can't mess up and that's saying something... trust me.
